Disc and drum brake hardware.
Stamped, welded and assembled under one roof.
Brake brackets, drum hardware, mounting plates and friction-stack assemblies — high-volume stamping, robotic welding cells and 100% inspection. Brakes are safety-critical, so every part is traceable from coil to shipment with the same IATF 16949 discipline applied to our automotive chassis programs.
Brake hardware sits at the intersection of high volume, tight tolerance and safety-critical traceability. Clover's shop is built for that: progressive dies running 24×7 for the volumes; robotic projection and MIG welding for sub-assembly; scanning-arm CMM and SPC for the dimensional discipline. The 1,650-ton press handles heavy commercial-vehicle brake brackets; small-tonnage lines run the high-mix automotive hardware.
IATF 16949:2016 registered. 100% inspection on safety-critical features with calibrated CMM and scanning-arm measurement. SPC backing every line. Coil-to-shipment traceability lets us pull the full process history on any production run on request.
What we bring to Brake Systems programs.
Progressive die stamping
Brake brackets, drum hardware and mounting plates on dedicated progressive lines. Volumes from 50,000 to several million parts/year.
Robotic welding for sub-assemblies
Friction-stack assemblies and brake bracket weldments on 12 robotic MIG cells. Specialty assembly on Flexfast nut-and-stud welder.
Coil-to-shipment traceability
Every coil tagged with a unique identifier. Full process history retrievable on request — material lot, press, weld cell, inspection, ship date.
In-house tool & die
Brake-hardware tooling designed and built on-site. Engineering changes turn around in days, not weeks.
Common materials we run.
- Low-carbon steel
- HSLA
- AHSS for high-load brackets
- Cold-rolled steel
Programs we build for this vertical.
- Disc brake calliper brackets and mounts
- Drum brake backing plates
- Drum brake shoe assemblies
- Friction-stack hardware
- Brake hose mounting brackets
