Automotive stamping, welding and sub-assembly.
From RFQ to SOP, on one APQP workflow.
Clover Group ships 48 million parts and sub-assemblies a year to OEMs and Tier 1 system integrators across Body, Chassis, Powertrain, Seating and Closures. Every program runs on the IATF 16949 APQP five-phase workflow: DFM/DFA at quote, in-house tool & die build, customer-witnessed try-out, capability-study PPAP, full-rate launch.
Automotive is Clover's foundation. The 1,650-ton press handles heavy body and chassis components; mid-tonnage transfer presses handle sub-frames, brackets and reinforcements; small-tonnage lines run high-volume hardware. Twelve robotic MIG welder cells stage finished sub-assemblies for module integrators and OEMs. The tool room (the same one Frank Zeni opened in 1979) designs and builds the dies in-house, so timing and engineering changes never depend on an outside vendor.
IATF 16949:2016 registered since 2018. ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 registered. 100% on-time delivery streak — 72 months and counting. Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) maintained in the CSR matrix; full quality manual and capability sheet available on request.
What we bring to Automotive programs.
In-house tool & die
Progressive, mechanical-transfer and hand-transfer dies designed and built on-site. Rapid try-out on the production press the part will run on.
Heavy stamping
1,650-ton press for chassis and body, 800-ton lines for sub-frames and brackets, 600-ton fleet for high-volume reinforcements.
Robotic welding
12 robotic MIG cells, 15+ projection welders. In-die staking, tapping and nut welding eliminate downstream steps.
APQP discipline
IATF 16949 five-phase workflow on every program. DFM/DFA review at quote. Customer-approved PPAP before launch.
