Where in Ontario does Clover Group do metal stamping?
Clover Group runs two Ontario plants. Clover Tool Mfg. Ltd. is at 8271 Keele Street in Concord (Vaughan), in the Greater Toronto Area, minutes from Highways 400 and 407. Ultramet Industries Inc. is at 5153 Fountain Street North in Breslau, in Waterloo Region near Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge. Together they run 30 presses from 80 to 1,650 tons across 208,600 sq ft.
Do you ship to the United States and Mexico?
Yes. Both plants ship stampings and welded sub-assemblies to OEM and Tier 1 programs in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Two plants on one quality system give programs extra capacity and a backup site without leaving the group.
What does each plant specialize in?
Concord (175,600 sq ft, 23 presses) runs high-volume progressive and transfer stamping, the 1,650-ton and 800-ton press lines, robotic MIG welding cells and the in-house tool room. Breslau (33,000 sq ft, 7 presses) runs heavy stamping up to .500" (13 mm), heavy-duty robotic welding, and progressive, robotic linear-transfer and hand-transfer work at low, medium and high volumes.
